أتشرف بإبلاغكم بأن رسالتكم المؤرخة 20 كانون الثاني/يناير 2006 (S/2006/42) المتعلقة بقرار الهيئـــة التوجيهيـــة لمجلس تنفيــذ الســـلام باختيار كريستيان شوارتز - شيلينغ (ألمانيا) لخلافة بادي آشداون كممثل سامٍ في البوسنة والهرسك، اعتبارا من 31 كانون الثاني/يناير 2006، قد عُرضت على أعضاء مجلس الأمن.

In accordance with the understanding reached in the Council's prior consultations, the President, with the consent of the Council, extended an invitation under rule 39 of the Council's provisional rules of procedure to Paddy Ashdown, High Representative for the Implementation of the Peace Agreement on Bosnia and Herzegovina.
