The international community must address and continue to act to bring an end to all Israeli actions against the Palestinian people and to ensure Israel's compliance with international law and its obligations as an occupying Power.
وعلى المجتمع الدولي أن يتصدى لجميع الأعمال الإسرائيلية الموجهة ضد الشعب الفلسطيني وأن يواصل العمل على وضع حد لها، ويكفل انصياع إسرائيل للقانون الدولي وتقيدها بالتزاماتها بوصفها سلطة محتلة.

Noting with great interest the efforts by the Palestinian National Authority in Gaza Strip and West Bank to improve the living conditions of the Palestinian people and to reconstruct the Palestinian national economy;

I would like to emphasize the importance of economic assistance to the Palestinian people and to the entire region.

That situation constitutes a violation of the obligation of Israel to protect the right to life and to physical integrity of the Palestinian people and to maintain public order in the occupied territory.

In addition to showing solidarity, the international community should continue to assist the Palestinian people through the provision of economic, humanitarian and technical assistance during this critical period, to help alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people and to rebuild the Palestinian economy and infrastructure.
