٦٢ - وقال إن وفده يؤكد ضرورة إيفاد بعثات زائرة دورية إلى اﻷقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي، لتيسير تنفيذ إعلان إنهاء الاستعمار على نحو تام وسريع وفعال.

١ - تشدد على الحاجة إلى إيفاد بعثات زائرة دورية إلى اﻷقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي من أجل تسهيل التنفيذ الكامل السريع الفعال ﻹعلان منح الاستقلال للبلدان والشعوب المستعمرة فيما يتصل بتلك اﻷقاليم؛

(s) The participants reconfirmed the need to dispatch periodic visiting missions to the Non-Self-Governing Territories with the aim of assessing the situation in those Territories and of ascertaining the wishes and aspirations of the peoples thereof regarding their future status;
(ق) أكد المشاركون من جديد ضرورة إيفاد بعثات زائرة دورية إلى الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي بهدف تقييم الحالة في هذه الأقاليم والتثبت من رغبات ومطامح شعوبها فيما يتعلق بمركزها في المستقبل؛

37. Mindful that the United Nations visiting missions provided a means of ascertaining the situation in the Territories, the Special Committee had stressed the need to dispatch periodic visiting missions and had urged the administering Powers to cooperate or continue to cooperate with the Special Committee by facilitating the dispatch of visiting missions to the Territories under their administration.
٣٧ - واستمر قائلا إن اللجنة الخاصة، إدراكا منها بأن البعثات الزائرة لﻷمم المتحدة وسيلة لتقييم الحالة في اﻷقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي، تؤكد ضرورة إيفاد بعثات زائرة دورية الى اﻷقاليم وتدعو الدول القائمة بالادارة الى التعاون أو الاستمرار في التضامن مع اللجنة الخاصة في عملها وذلك بتيسيرها إيفاد بعثات زائرة الى اﻷقاليم الواقعة تحت إدارتها.
