Article 17: Personal freedom is guaranteed by law. No one may be arrested, searched, detained, imprisoned, obliged to live in a specific place or subjected to restrictions on his or her freedom of residence or movement unless in conformity with the law.

فقد نصت المادة (26) من دستور دولة الإمارات على أن " الحرية الشخصية مكفولة لجميع المواطنين.

Article 11 of the Code of Criminal Procedure stipulates that: " Personal freedom is guaranteed and a citizen may not be accused of the commission of an offence or have his freedom restricted except by order of the competent authorities as designated in this Code. "
وقد نص قانون الإجراءات الجزائية في المادة 11 منه على أن: " الحرية الشخصية مكفولة ولا يجوز اتهام مواطن بارتكاب جريمة ولا تقيد حريته إلا بأمر من السلطات المختصة وفق ما جاء في هذا القانون " .

67. In respect of the right to security of person and protection against any harm, article 18 of the Basic Law provides that " Personal freedom is guaranteed in accordance with the law. No person may be arrested, searched, detained or imprisoned, or have his residence or movement curtailed, except in accordance with the provisions of the law. "
67- وفي مجال أمن المواطن على شخصه وحمايته من أي أذى، نصت المادة 18 من النظام الأساسي للدولة على أن " الحرية الشخصية مكفولة وفقاً للقانون، ولا يجوز القبض على إنسان أو تفتيشه أو حجزه أو حبسه أو تحديد إقامته أو تقييد حريته في الإقامة أو التنقل إلا وفق أحكام القانون " .

Article 18 of the Basic Law of the State provides that " Personal freedom is guaranteed according to the law, and no person may be apprehended, searched, detained or arrested, freedom of movement shall not be restricted except in accordance with the law " .
226- نص النظام الأساسي للدولة في المادة 18 منه على أن: " الحرية الشخصية مكفولة وفقا للقانون، ولا يجوز القبض على إنسان أو تفتيشه أو حجزه أو حبسه أو تحديد إقامته أو تقييد حريته في الإقامة أو التنقل إلا وفق أحكام القانون " .

84. Article 26 of the Constitution states: " Personal freedom is guaranteed to all citizens. No person may be arrested, searched, detained or imprisoned except in accordance with the law, and no one may be subjected to torture or degrading treatment. "
84- كما نصت المادة 26 من الدستور على أن: " الحرية الشخصية مكفولة لجميع المواطنين، ولا يجوز القبض على أحد أو تفتيشه أو حجزه أو حبسه إلا وفق أحكام القانون، ولا يعرض أي إنسان للتعذيب أو المعاملة الحاطة بالكرامة " .

108. Article 11 of the Code of Criminal Procedures No. 13 of 1994 states: " Personal freedom is guaranteed. No citizen may be charged with an offence or deprived of his liberty except by order of the competent authorities and in accordance with the present Code. "
108- كما نصت المادة 11 من قانون الإجراءات الجزائية رقم 13 لسنة 1994 أن " الحرية الشخصية مكفولة ولا يجوز اتهام مواطن بارتكاب جريمة ولا تقيد حريته إلا بأمر من السلطات المختصة وفق ما جاء في هذا القانون " .

202. Article 11 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Act No. 13 of 1994) provides that " Personal freedom is guaranteed. No citizen may be charged with an offence or deprived of his liberty except by order of the competent authorities in accordance with the present Code. "
202- كما نصت المادة 11 من قانون الإجراءات الجزائية رقم 13 لسنة 1994 أن " الحرية الشخصية مكفولة ولا يجوز اتهام مواطن بارتكاب جريمة ولا تقيد حريته إلا بأمر من السلطات المختصة وفق ما جاء في هذا القانون " .

94. The legislature guarantees personal freedom and protects individuals, both children and adults, from torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. Article 36 of the Constitution states: " Personal freedom is guaranteed. No one may be arrested, imprisoned, searched, confined to a specific place of residence or subjected to restrictions on his freedom of residence or movement except in accordance with the law.
94- وكفل المشرع الحرية الشخصية وحظر خضوع الإنسان سواء كان طفلاً أو بالغاً لسن الرشد للتعذيب أو غيره من ضروب المعاملة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة، حيث نصت المادة 36 من الدستور على أن " الحرية الشخصية مكفولة ولا يجوز القبض على إنسان أو حبسه أو تفتيشه أو تحديد إقامته أو تقييد حريته في الإقامة أو التنقل وفق أحكام القانون.
