The Ministry markets productive family products at fairs in Bahrain and abroad, during national events and in malls. It is in the process of opening a centre in the central governorate, specifically in the Sitrah district, to produce and market these goods.

Since 1996, the Ministry of Labour has been running the Female Programme to Consolidate Employment (PROFECE), whose goal is to secure temporary income for adult women of limited economic means living in the marginal urban areas of metropolitan Lima; during this past year, the programme began expanding into the department of Ayacucho, where it works with productive family units.
156- تقوم وزارة العمل، منذ عام 1996، بتنفيذ البرنامج النسائي لدعم العمـل، الذي يهدف إلى تحقيـق دخل مؤقت للنساء البالغات ذات الموارد الاقتصادية القليلة في المناطق الحضرية الهامشية لليما الكبرى، وقد بدأ البرنامج يمتد إلى محافظة اياكوتشو، في العام الحالي، حيث يعمل مع وحدات الأسر المنتجة.

(a) The provision of social and financial assistance, with emphasis on the productive family programmes which are designed to secure a fixed source of income for families through the development projects that are being implemented by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, including:

كما كثفت الوزارة جهودها في مجال دعم النساء من ذوي الدخل المحدود لتحقيق الاستقلال الاقتصادي من خلال برامج الأسر المنتجة التي تقدمها و تم استحداث إدارة متخصصة لهذا الغرض بالوزارة باسم (إدارة الأسر المنتجة).

340. A complex in the capital was established to promote and market the products of productive families, to shift the policy of supporting productive family enterprises away from the " incubation " stage to the " development " stage and to provide a unique commercial centre promoting traditional Bahraini products and marketing them at home and abroad.
340- وتم إنشاء مجمع العاصمة لدعم منتجات الأسر المنتجة وتسويقها من أجل التحول في سياسة دعم مشروعات الأسر المنتجة من مرحلة " الرعاية " إلى " التنمية والتطوير " بالإضافة إلى توفير مركز تجاري فريد من نوعه لخدمة المنتجات التقليدية البحرينية، وتسويقها على النطاق المحلي والعالمي.

(e) The Ministry of Labour, in coordination with the Ministry of the Civil Service and Ministry of Social Affairs, has been directed to take the measures necessary to give effect to telecommuting as one new area in which women might be employed and to implement and provide the necessary support for productive family programmes.
(هـ) تم توجيه وزارة العمل بالتنسيق مع وزارة الخدمة المدنية ووزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية باتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لتنفيذ أسلوب العمل عن بعد كأحد المجالات الجديدة التي يمكن أن تعمل من خلالها المرأة، وتنفيذ برامج الأسر المنتجة وتوفير الدعم اللازم لإنجازها.
