33. A simple step in this direction would be to record in a succinct and simple form the principal lessons learned from Habitat's experience over the last five years in at least two of the main areas in which Habitat will be active in the foreseeable future and then see whether the lessons learned have improved the quality of programme and projects design and implementation.
٣٣ - ويمكن اتخاذ خطوة بسيطة في هذا الاتجاه تتمثل في القيام، بطريقة مقتضبة وبسيطة، بتسجيل الدروس الرئيسية المستفادة من خبرة الموئل على امتداد السنوات الخمس اﻷخيرة فيما لا يقل عن مجالين أساسيين سينشط فيهما الموئل في المستقبل المنظور، والنظر بعد ذلك فيما إذا كانت تلك الدروس قد حسﱠنت التصميم والتنفيذ للبرامج والمشاريع.

The General Assembly also reiterated the important role of the specialized agencies of the United Nations system in transferring and facilitating the necessary technical and substantive expertise to support the national execution of United Nations-funded programme and projects (para. 30) and requested (para. 28) the United Nations development system to improve the definition and guidelines for national execution.

67. Although the General Assembly highlighted the role of the specialized agencies of the United Nations system in transferring and facilitating the necessary technical and substantive expertise to support the national execution of United Nations-funded programme and projects, the role of cooperating arrangements with specialized agencies under national execution has to date been marginal on the whole.
٦٧ - وعلى الرغم من أن الجمعية العامة سلطت الضوء على دور الوكالات المتخصصة التابعة لمنظومة اﻷمم المتحدة في نقل وتيسير الخبرة التقنية والفنية اللازمة لدعم عملية التنفيذ الوطني للبرامج والمشاريع الممولة من قِبَل اﻷمم المتحدة، إلا أن دور ترتيبات التعاون مع الوكالات المتخصصة ضمن إطار التنفيذ الوطني ظلت حتى اﻵن، من ناحية عامة، هامشيا.
