55. Article 6 of UNCRPD provides that States parties shall take measures to ensure the full and equal enjoyment by women and girls with disabilities of all human rights and fundamental freedoms, recognizing that women and girls with disabilities are subject to multiple discrimination.

53. In addition, article 35 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child provides that States parties shall take all appropriate national, bilateral and multilateral measures to prevent the abduction of, the sale of or traffic in children for any purpose or in any form.

The Convention on the Rights of the Child provides that States parties shall take appropriate measures to combat disease and malnutrition " through the provision of adequate nutritious foods and clean drinking water, taking into consideration the dangers and risks of environmental pollution " .
