These provisions are enacted to fulfil, in part, Australia's international obligations with regard to offences against humanity.

1. With regard to offences under article 70, the Court may request a State to provide any form of international cooperation or judicial assistance corresponding to those forms set forth in Part 9.

11. In regard to offences against the judiciary, a person who insulted a judge or called in question his professional or personal integrity would be liable to a fine or imprisonment.

5. The provisions of all extradition treaties and arrangements between States Parties with regard to offences referred to in article 2 shall be deemed to be modified as between States Parties to the extent that they are incompatible with this Convention.
٥ - تعتبر أحكام جميع معاهدات وترتيبات تسليم المجرمين المبرمة فيما بين الدول اﻷطراف معدلة فيما بين هذه الدول فيما يتعلق بالجرائم المحددة في المادة ٢، الى الحد الذي لا تتعارض فيه تلك اﻷحكام مع هذه الاتفاقية.

5 - تعتبر أحكام جميع معاهدات وترتيبات تسليم المجرمين المبرمة فيما بين الدول الأطراف فيما يتعلق بالجرائم المنصوص عليها في المادة 2، قد عدلت فيما بين هذه الدول الأطراف حيثما تكون تلك الأحكام متعارضة مع هذه الاتفاقية.

With regard to offences committed by public officials, however, Act No. 29648 of 1 January 2011 provides for the immediate application of the new Code of Criminal Procedure at the national level.
بيد أنه فيما يتعلق بالجرائم التي يرتكبها موظفون عموميون، ينص القانون رقم 29648 المؤرَّخ 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2011 على التطبيق الفوري لقانون الإجراءات الجنائية الجديد على المستوى الوطني.

(b) The conditions for providing cooperation or judicial assistance with regard to offences under article 70 shall be those set forth in paragraph 2 of that article.
