3. Further encourages regional and subregional organizations to strengthen and increase cooperation among them, including efforts to enhance their respective capacities, in the maintenance of international peace and security;

At its ninth session, the Forum invited regional and subregional organizations to strengthen their contributions to the work of the Forum and to provide input, in the context of the overall theme for the tenth session, on their efforts towards the implementation of the forest instrument and its four global objectives on forests, through sharing regional perspectives, approaches and experiences.
