6. States Parties shall adopt measures in order to protect the safety and integrity of those persons and/or institutions involved in the prevention and/or protection and rehabilitation of child victims of these practices.

The Committee strongly encourages the State party to take all effective measures to protect children, especially girls, against sexual abuse and violence within the school environment and to facilitate the rehabilitation of child victims in this regard.

The Special Rapporteur will continue to analyse the root causes of the sale and sexual exploitation of children; address all the contributing factors, including demand; make recommendations on preventing and combating new patterns of the phenomena; identify and promote good practices on measures to combat them; promote comprehensive prevention strategies; and make recommendations on aspects relating to the rehabilitation of child victims.

" 17. Invites States and relevant United Nations bodies and agencies to allocate appropriate resources for the rehabilitation of child victims of sexual exploitation and abuse and to take all appropriate measures to promote their full recovery and social reintegration;

It suggests, inter alia, the setting up of social programmes to prevent all types of child abuse as well as the rehabilitation of child victims.
