Finally, UNODC has provided assistance to anti-corruption programmes under development in Albania and Serbia, as well as in Kosovo. As issues related to asset recovery, international cooperation and mutual legal assistance continue to arise throughout those subregions, UNODC will provide assistance, guidance and support, as required.

StAR also supported the G8 Presidency and the Government of the State of Qatar in the launch and implementation of the Arab Forum on Asset Recovery, which presents a unique opportunity to bring together relevant stakeholders for an open discussion of the challenges and expectations related to asset recovery by both the requesting and requested States.
وساندت مبادرة ستار أيضا رئاسة مجموعة الثماني وحكومة دولة قطر على إطلاق وتنفيذ المنتدى العربي لاسترداد الأموال المنهوبة [الموجودات]، الذي يتيح فرصة فريدة لجمع أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين من أجل إجراء مناقشة صريحة للتحديات والتوقعات فيما يتعلق باسترداد الموجودات من جانب كل من الدول الطالبة والدول متلقية الطلب.
