In addition, UNIDO's activities related to energy and the environment are fully in accordance with the objectives of the Global Environmental Facility (GEF), and several derive their mandate from such international agreements as the Montreal Protocol, the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants, and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
