Other regional initiatives involving the Secretariat include the Open Regional Fund for South-East Europe - Legal Reform, a project jointly carried out by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit ( " GIZ " , formerly known as " GTZ " ) and the Secretariat with a view to promoting the adoption and uniform interpretation of UNCITRAL texts relating to arbitration and to international sale of goods.
