5. ECPAT submitted that despite Mozambique's achievements in the protection of the rights of the child, which include the ratification of the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography (OP-CRC-SC), the normative framework for the protection of children from sexual exploitation has not been fully aligned with relevant international legal standards.
