The Committee has therefore urged States parties to incorporate a gender perspective in all development programmes and to pay increased attention to the needs of rural women so as to ensure that they benefit from policies and programmes adopted in all spheres.

152. The Committee urges the State party to pay increased attention to the needs of rural women so as to ensure that they benefit from policies and programmes adopted in all spheres, as well as participate in decision-making, have full access to education and health services and credit facilities.
