I am writing to you in relation to the provisions of paragraph 7 of section I of General Assembly resolution 40/243, according to which no subsidiary organ of the Assembly may meet at United Nations Headquarters during a regular session of the Assembly unless explicitly authorized by the Assembly.
أكتب إليكم في ما يتعلق بأحكام الفقرة 7 من الجزء الأول من قرار الجمعية العامة 40/243، التي تنص على أنه لا يجوز لأي جهاز فرعي للجمعية العامة أن يجتمع في مقر الأمم المتحدة أثناء انعقاد دورة عادية للجمعية ما لم تأذن الجمعية صراحة له بذلك.

I am writing in connection with the provisions of paragraph 7 of section I of General Assembly resolution 40/243, according to which no subsidiary organ of the General Assembly may meet at United Nations Headquarters during a regular session of the Assembly unless explicitly authorized by the Assembly.
أكتب إليكم بشأن أحكام الفقرة 7 من الجزء الأول من قرار الجمعية العامة 40/243، الذي ينص على أنه لا يجوز لأي من الهيئات الفرعية عقد اجتماعاتها في مقر الأمم المتحدة خلال دورة عادية للجمعية العامة ما لم تأذن الجمعية العامة بذلك بصريح العبارة.

6. The financial period covers 12 months beginning on 1 July of one year and terminating on 30 June of the following year, in accordance with section I of General Assembly resolution 49/233 of 23 December 1994.
٦ - تغطي الفترة المالية ١٢ شهرا تبدأ في ١ تموز/يوليه من السنة وتنتهي في ٣٠ حزيران/يونيه من السنة التالية، وفقا للجزء اﻷول من قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٩/٢٣٣ المؤرخ ٢٣ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٤.

11. The financial period covers 12 months beginning on 1 July of one year and terminating on 30 June the following year, in accordance with section I of General Assembly resolution 49/233 A of 23 December 1994.
١١- تغطي الفترة المالية ١٢ شهرا تبدأ في يوم ١ تموز/يوليه في السنة وتنتهي في ٣٠ حزيران/يونيه في السنة التالية، وفقا للجزء اﻷول من قرار الجمعية العامة ٣٩/٢٣٣ ألف المؤرخ ٢٣ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٤.

In paragraph 8 of section I of General Assembly resolution 49/153, the Secretary-General and the United Nations agencies concerned had been encouraged to finalize, in consultation with Member States, the elaboration of a global disability indicator, and the Special Rapporteur had been urged to make use of it, where appropriate in his future work.
وفي الفقرة ٨ من الفرع أولا من قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٩/١٥٣ حث اﻷمين العام ووكالات اﻷمم المتحدة المعنية على القيام، بالتشاور مع الدول اﻷعضاء، باستكمال وضع مؤشر عالمي للعجز، وحث المقرر الخاص أيضا على الاستفادة من هذا المؤشر عند الاقتضاء في أعماله مستقبلا.

The Committee recalls paragraph 3 (a) of section I of General Assembly resolution 47/212 B, by which the Assembly decided:

16. In accordance with paragraph 4 of section I of General Assembly resolution 51/218 E of 17 June 1997, for missions activated prior to 1 July 1996, countries had the option to accept reimbursement under either the new or the old reimbursement methodology.

Under the terms of section I of General Assembly resolution 50/216 of 23 December 1995, the Secretary-General had been authorized to enter into commitments in an amount not exceeding a monthly level of US$ 2,329,700 (net of staff assessment) in the event of an extension of MINUGUA beyond 31 March 1996.

The President: Members are aware that, pursuant to paragraph 7 of section I of General Assembly resolution 40/243, no subsidiary organ of the General Assembly should be permitted to meet at United Nations Headquarters during the main part of the Assembly's regular session unless explicitly authorized by the Assembly.

19. In conformity with paragraph 14 of section I of General Assembly resolution 45/239 A, a number of the tables contained in annex I are arranged alphabetically by country of nationality and by major geographical region.

Pursuant to section I of General Assembly resolution 63/263, in which the Assembly endorsed the conclusions and recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions (A/63/465), progress reports are to be submitted annually to the Assembly for all ongoing construction projects.
