٢٩ - يوصي رؤساء الهيئات بامتناع أعضاء هيئات اﻹشراف على المعاهدات عن المشاركة على أي نحو في نظر التقارير المقدمة من الدول التي يكونون من رعاياها، أو في الرسائل أو الاستفسارات المتصلة بهذه الدول، من أجل ضمان أعلى معايير النزاهة في المضمون والشكل على حد سواء.

It concludes that its investigation meets the Covenant standards of impartiality, promptness and thoroughness.
وهي تخلص إلى أن التحقيق الذي أجرته تتوفر فيه معايير الحياد والسرعة والشمول.

(c) Respecting strictly the highest standards of impartiality and expertise and avoiding acts which would affect confidence in the independence of its members, in particular in situations where they could have a conflict of interest;

2. In their duties under the Convention, members of the Committee shall maintain the highest standards of impartiality and integrity, and apply the standards of the Convention equally to all States and all individuals, without fear or favour and without discrimination of any kind.

86. As the execution of a death sentence is irrevocable, it is imperative that legal proceedings in relation to capital offences conform to the highest standards of impartiality, competence, objectivity and independence of the judiciary, in accordance with the pertinent international legal instruments.

55- يجب أن يُراعى في الإجراءات القانونية المفضية الى توقيع عقوبة الإعدام، توافر أعلى معايير النزاهة والكفاءة والموضوعية والاستقلال في السلطة القضائية التي تقضي بهذه العقوبة، وفقا لما تنص عليه الصكوك القانونية الدولية بهذا الخصوص.
