Argentina has participated actively in the meetings of the States members of the zone of peace and cooperation of the South Atlantic and fully supports the section of the Final Declaration of the States members of the zone, adopted at their fourth meeting, held at Somerset West, South Africa, on 1 and 2 April 1996, concerning efforts to combat drug trafficking.
