1. States parties undertake to submit to the Committee, through the Secretary-General of the United Nations, reports on the measures they have adopted which give effect to the rights recognized herein and on the progress made on the enjoyment of those rights:
1- تتعهد الدول الأطراف بأن تقدم إلى اللجنة، عن طريق الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، تقارير عن التدابير التي اعتمدتها لإنفاذ الحقوق المعترف بها في هذه الاتفاقية وعن التقدم المحرز في التمتع بتلك الحقوق:

1. States parties undertake to submit to the Secretary-General of the United Nations for consideration by the Committee a report on the legislative, judicial, administrative and other measures they have taken to give effect to the provisions of the present Convention:
1- تتعهد الدول الأطراف بأن تقدم إلى الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة تقريراً لتنظر فيه اللجنة عن التدابير التشريعية والقضائية والإدارية وغيرها من التدابير المتخذة لتنفيذ أحكام هذه الاتفاقية، وذلك:

1. Pursuant to article 44, paragraph 1 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, States parties undertake to submit to the Committee, through the Secretary-General of the United Nations, reports on the implementation of the Convention:
1- عملا بالفقرة 1 من المادة 44 من اتفاقية حقوق الطفل، تتعهد الدول الأطراف بأن تقدم إلى اللجنة، عن طريق الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، تقارير عن تنفيذ الاتفاقية:

States parties undertake to submit reports within one year of the entry into force of the Covenant for the State party concerned and thereafter whenever the Committee so requests.
وتتعهد الدول اﻷطراف بتقديم تقارير في خلال سنة واحدة من بدء نفاذ العهد بالنسبة للدولة الطرف المعنية، ثم كلما طلبت اللجنة إليها ذلك.

2. Under article 40 of the Covenant, the States parties undertake to submit reports on the measures that they have taken to give effect to the rights recognized in the Covenant and on the progress made in the enjoyment of those rights.

18. Article 18, paragraph 1, of the Convention provides that States parties undertake to submit reports on the implementation of the Convention within one year after its entry into force for the State concerned and thereafter at least every four years and further whenever the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women so requests.
18 - تنص الفقرة 1 من المادة 18 من الاتفاقية على أن تتعهد الدول الأطراف بتقديم تقارير عن تنفيذ الاتفاقية في غضون سنة واحدة من بدء النفاذ بالنسبة للدولة المعنية، وبعد ذلك كل أربع سنوات على الأقل، وكذلك كلما طلبت منها ذلك اللجنة المعنية بالقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة.
