123. Article 13 of the Code provides for the contraction of marriage in the State offices for the registration of civil status documents.
٣٢١- وتنص المادة ٣١ من القانون على أن يتم عقد الزواج في المكاتب الحكومية المعنية بتسجيل وثائق الحالة المدنية.

It is undisputed that the authors have suffered sex-based discrimination by bearing their fathers' family names in their civil status documents, and that that discrimination was based on discriminatory and sexist customary rules on transmission of family names which were in force at the time of their births.
ومما لا شك فيه أن مقدمتي البلاغ عانتا من التمييز القائم على أساس الجنس بسبب حملهما لاسم أسرتي والديهما في وثائق الحالة المدنية وأن هذا التمييز كان على أساس قواعد عرفية تمييزية ومتحيزة جنسيا كانت سارية وقت ولادتهما بشأن نقل الأسماء العائلية.

Each of the units now has the capability to issue civil status documents (birth, marriage and death certificates), certified by the Ministry of Public Services, and generate its own revenue, though this aspect remains limited at this stage.

110- وفي المدن الواقعة على الضفة اليُمنى من نهر نيسترو، افتُتِحت مكاتب إقليمية لاستخراج وثائق للأحوال المدنية لسكان منطقة ترانسنيستريا، تمكّن مواطني مولدوفا من أمور منها طلب وثائق الحالة المدنية لتبعية جمهورية مولدوفا، أو توجيه طلب لإعادة إصدار وثائق التخرج الصادرة عن مؤسسات التعليم في مولدوفا.

5.4 With regard to the State party's allegation that the authors did not substantiate their claim of sex-based discrimination by bearing their fathers' family names, the authors reiterate that they have had to bear their fathers' family names reflected in their civil status documents based on discriminatory and sexist customary rules in force at the time of their birth.
5-4 وفيما يتعلق بمزاعم الدولة الطرف بأن مقدمتي البلاغ لم تثبتا ما تدعيانه من تمييز قائم على أساس الجنس لأنهما تحملان الاسم العائلي لوالديهما، تؤكد مقدمتا البلاغ من جديد أنه تعين عليهما حمل الاسم العائلي لوالديهما الوارد في وثائق الحالة المدنية على أساس القواعد العرفية التمييزية المتحيزة جنسيا التي كانت سارية وقت ولادتهما.

It remains that some rulings, such as those requiring the annulment or dissolution of a marriage or divorce, are not executed by the Execution Department but are the subject of a special provision of the law on registration of personal status documents (7 December 1951), which applies to all Lebanese.
يبقى أن أحكاماً، كالأحكام التي تقضي بإعلان بطلان الزواج أو فسخه أو الطلاق، لا تنفّذ في دائرة التنفيذ بل لها تدبير خاص نصّت عليه أحكام قانون قيد وثائق الأحوال الشخصية الصادر في 7/12/1951، وهو واحد لجميع اللبنايين.

208.2 In a related context, the NCLW requested that the phrase " family status " be struck out from certain personal status documents designed for public use. 208-2 في سياقٍ متّصل، طلبت الهيئة الوطنية لشؤون المرأة اللبنانية شطب عبارة " الوضع العائلي " عن بعض وثائق الأحوال الشخصية المعدّة للاستعمال العام، فاقترن طلبها بموافقة هيئة التشريع والاستشارات في وزارة العدل بتاريخ 1 حزيران/يونيه 2009 وبموافقة وزير الداخلية والبلديات الذي اصدر قراراً بذلك.
