For the purposes of article 50, paragraph 1, of the Statute, all decisions subject to appeal in accordance with the Statute and the Rules of Procedure and Evidence, and any decisions resolving such appeals, shall be considered as resolving fundamental issues before the Court.
ﻷغراض الفقرة ١ من المادة ٥٠ من النظام اﻷساسي للمحكمة، يقصد بالقرارات التي تحسم مسائل أساسية جميع القرارات التي يمكن الرجوع إليها وفقا للنظام اﻷساسي وللقواعد اﻹجرائية وقواعد اﻹثبات، وكذلك القرارات التي تحسم ذلك الرجوع.

For the purpose of the Statute and the Rules of procedure and evidence:

The Court undertakes to keep the Security Council informed in this regard in accordance with the Statute and the Rules of Procedure and Evidence.
وتتعهد المحكمة بإبقاء مجلس الأمن على علم في هذا الصدد، وفقا للنظام الأساسي والقواعد الإجرائية وقواعد الإثبات.

Information provided by the Court to the Security Council in accordance with the Statute and the Rules of Procedure and Evidence shall be transmitted through the Secretary-General.

The appointment of ad hoc judges, which would require amendment of the Statute and the Rules defining assignment, status and competence, appears problematical.

The termination or absence of such inviolability shall not affect protective measures that the Court may order pursuant to the Statute and the Rules of Procedure and Evidence with regard to documents and materials made available to or used by the Court.
