55. The group proposed that in the final report to be submitted to the Subcommission at its forty-seventh session, express reference should be made to that type of initiative and that the Subcommission should accordingly decide to submit to the Commission a draft recommendation on the question in the following terms:

232. At its forty-sixth session, the Subcommission, in its decision 1994/116 decided to recommend to the Special Rapporteur to submit the second progress report to the Working Group on Indigenous Populations at its thirteenth session and to the Subcommission at its forty-seventh session.
٢٣٢- وقررت اللجنة الفرعية في دورتها السادسة واﻷربعين، في مقررها ٤٩٩١/٦١١ أن توصي المقرر الخاص بتقديم التقرير المرحلي الثاني إلى الفريق العامل المعني بالسكان اﻷصليين في دورته الثالثة عشرة وإلى اللجنة الفرعية في دورتها السابعة واﻷربعين.

255. At its forty-sixth session, in its decision 1994/109, the Subcommission decided to invite Ms. Linda Chavez to submit a working paper on the situation of systematic rape, sexual slavery and slave-like practices during wartime, including internal conflict, to the Subcommission at its forty-seventh session.

2. In its resolution 1994/5, the Subcommission requested the Secretary-General to invite States to inform the Working Group of measures adopted to implement the Programme of Action and to submit a report thereon to the Subcommission at its forty-seventh session and to the Commission at its fifty-second session.

By a letter dated 3 July 1995 addressed to the Chairperson of the Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Office of the United Nations at Geneva requested that the following information be made available to the Subcommission at its forty-seventh session.

39. This item has been regularly considered by the Subcommission since 1962, in conformity with resolution 5 (XIV). The Subcommission, at its forty-seventh session, will have before it a note by the Secretary-General containing a review of further developments in fields with which the Subcommission has been concerned (E/CN.4/Sub.2/1995/3).

In paragraph 3 of resolution 1994/9, the Subcommission requested the Secretary-General to submit to the Subcommission at its forty-seventh session a note on the situation of children deprived of their liberty under the agenda sub-item entitled " Prevention of discrimination and protection of children: human rights and youth " .

At its forty-sixth session, the Subcommission, in its resolution 1994/3, requested the Special Rapporteur to submit to the Commission at its fifty-first session and to the Subcommission at its forty-seventh session, her second and final report on the steps and measures being taken by the Government of South Africa to:
٥٧- ورجت اللجنة الفرعية من المقررة الخاصة، في قرارها ٤٩٩١/٣ الذي اعتمدته في دورتها السادسة واﻷربعين، أن تقدم الى لجنة حقوق الانسان في دورتها الحادية والخمسين والى اللجنة الفرعية في دورتها السابعة واﻷربعين تقريرها الثاني النهائي عن الخطوات والتدابير التي تقوم حكومة جنوب أفريقيا باتخاذها من أجل تحقيق ما يلي:

At its forty-sixth session, the Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, in its resolution 1994/43 of 26 August 1994, requested the Secretary-General to report to the Subcommission at its forty-seventh session on the steps taken since the World Conference on Human Rights relating to the integration of the human rights of women and the girl child into the United Nations system.
١- طلبت اللجنة الفرعية لمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليات في دورتها السادسة واﻷربعين إلى اﻷمين العام، بموجب قرارها ٤٩٩١/٣٤ المؤرخ ٦٢ آب/أغسطس ٤٩٩١، أن يقدم إلى اللجنة الفرعية في دورتها السابعة واﻷربعين تقريراً عن الخطوات التي اتخذت منذ المؤتمر العالمي لحقوق اﻹنسان بخصوص إدماج حقوق اﻹنسان للمرأة والطفلة في منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة.

1. At its 36th meeting, on 26 August 1994, the Subcommission by decision 1994/113, decided without a vote, to request Mr. Asbjørn Eide to prepare, without financial implications, a working paper on the concept and issues relating to " enclaved groups " and to present this paper to the Subcommission at its forty-seventh session.
١- قررت اللجنة الفرعية لمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليات في جلستها السادسة والثلاثين المعقودة في ٦٢ آب/أغسطس ٤٩٩١، بموجب مقررها ٤٩٩١/٣١١، بدون تصويت، أن ترجو من السيد اسبيورن أيدي أن يعد، بدون آثار مالية، ورقة عمل بشأن المفاهيم والقضايا المتصلة ﺑ " المجموعات المعزولة " ، وأن يقدم هذه الورقة الى اللجنة الفرعية في دورتها السابعة واﻷربعين.

In its resolution 1994/3 of 12 August 1994, the Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities requested Ms. Judith Sefi Attah, Special Rapporteur on monitoring the transition to democracy in South Africa, to present her second and final report to the Commission on Human Rights at its fifty-first session and to the Subcommission at its forty-seventh session.
١- طلبت اللجنة الفرعية لمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليـــات، فـــي قرارها ٤٩٩١/٣ المؤرخ في ٢١ آب/ أغسطس ٤٩٩١، إلى السيدة جودث سيفي أتاه، المقررة الخاصة بشأن رصد الانتقال إلى الديمقراطية في جنوب أفريقيا، تقديم تقريرها الثاني النهائي إلى لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان في دورتها الحادية والخمسين وإلى اللجنة الفرعية في دورتها السابعة واﻷربعين.

Those proposals, in particular the ones made by non-governmental organizations and included in the report of the Secretary-General submitted to the Subcommission at its forty-seventh session (E/CN.4/Sub.2/1995/33, paras. 69-74), may be considered as conducive to furthering concrete measures to be taken by the relevant United Nations organs, organizations and bodies and by Governments themselves aimed at the promotion of the Declaration.
