3. Each State Party shall consider providing for the possibility, in accordance with fundamental principles of its domestic law, of granting immunity from prosecution to a person who provides substantial cooperation in the investigation or prosecution of an offence covered by this Convention.
3- يتعين على كل دولة طرف أن تنظر في امكانية منح الحصانة من الملاحقة لأي شخص يقدم عونا كبيرا في عمليات التحقيق أو الملاحقة المتعلقة بجرم مشمول بهذه الاتفاقية، وفقا للمبادىء الأساسية لقانونها الداخلي.

2. Each State Party shall consider providing for the possibility, in accordance with fundamental principles of its domestic law, of granting immunity from persecution to a person who provides substantial cooperation in the investigation or prosecution of an offence covered by this Convention.
2- تنظر كل دولة طرف في إمكانية منح الحصانة من الملاحقة لأي شخص يقدم عونا كبيرا في عمليات التحقيق أو الملاحقة بشأن جرم مشمول بهذه الاتفاقية، وفقا للمبادئ الأساسية لقانونها الداخلي.

2. Each State Party shall consider providing for the possibility, in appropriate cases, of mitigating punishment of an accused person who provides substantial cooperation in the investigation or prosecution of an offence established in accordance with this Convention.
2- تنظر كل دولة طرف في أن تتيح، في الحالات المناسبة، إمكانية تخفيف عقوبة المتهم الذي يقدم عونا كبيرا في عمليات التحقيق أو الملاحقة بشأن فعل مجرّم وفقا لهذه الاتفاقية.

(b) Considering the provision by an accused person of substantial cooperation in the investigation and prosecution of an offence established in article(s) [...] [alternatively: of an offence covered by this Convention] as a mitigating factor in determining the person’s punishment.

Full immunity from prosecution to a person who provides substantial cooperation in the investigation or prosecution of an offence is not possible.
ولا يجوز منح الحصانة الكاملة من الملاحقة القضائية لأي شخص يقدِّم عوناً كبيراً في عمليات التحقيق أو في الملاحقة القضائية لمرتكبي إحدى الجرائم.
