The Subcommittee welcomed the establishment of the open-ended ad hoc working group, which had carried out its work intersessionally under the coordination of the delegation of the Netherlands, and considered the appropriateness of the United Nations serving as supervisory authority under the future protocol.
86- ورحّبت اللجنة الفرعية بإنشاء الفريق العامل المخصص المفتوح العضوية، الذي اضطلع بعمله في فترة ما بين الدورات بتنسيق من وفد هولندا ونظر في مدى ملاءمة قيام الأمم المتحدة بمهام السلطة الإشرافية في إطار البروتوكول المقبل.

Those delegations were of the view that a number of both practical and fundamental issues remained to be resolved before the Subcommittee could decide on the appropriateness of the United Nations serving as supervisory authority under the future space assets protocol.
