With respect to the impact of the reform of the United Nations Secretariat, especially the integration of three departments into one, the new Sustainable Development Division continued to provide technical cooperation, particularly in the areas of energy and water resources, and more synergies would be created in the future between support for the intergovernmental process and technical cooperation activities.
