6. The States Members of the Non Aligned Movement that are States Parties to the BWC and other States Parties, attach due importance to promoting South-South cooperation in the framework of the Convention.

9. In this regard, the States Members of the Non Aligned Movement that are States Parties to the BWC and other States Parties, would stress that cooperation and assistance should be strengthened within the framework of the Convention instead of exclusively using bilateral channels.

2. The States Members of the Non Aligned Movement that are States Parties to the BWC and other States Parties, reaffirmed the position adopted during the XVI Ministerial Conference of the NAM, in Bali, Indonesia, (paragraph 179):

The Group of States members of the NAM that are States Parties to the BWC and other States Parties, representing the developing countries in the Convention, regard the full, effective and non-discriminatory implementation of Article X as a fundamental priority which is essential for the realization of objectives and purpose of the Convention, as well as economical and technological development of States Parties in this regard.

14. The States Members of the Non Aligned Movement that are States Parties to the BWC and other States Parties, would like to seize this opportunity to encourage all States Parties to report at this Seventh Review Conference on how Article X is being implemented, as set forth in paragraph 54 of the Final Document of the Sixth BWC Review Conference.

5. The States Members of the Non Aligned Movement that are States Parties to the BWC and other States Parties call on the developed countries to promote international cooperation for the benefit of States Parties through transfer of technology, material and equipment for peaceful purposes in the biological field and the removal of all restrictions that are contrary to the letter and spirit of the Convention.
5- وتهيب الدول الأعضاء في حركة عدم الانحياز، التي هي دول أطراف في اتفاقية الأسلحة البيولوجية، ودول أطراف أخرى، بالدول المتقدمة أن تعزز التعاون الدولي لمصلحة الدول الأطراف من خلال نقل التكنولوجيا والمواد والمعدات للأغراض السلمية في المجال البيولوجي وإلغاء جميع القيود التي تتناقض مع نص الاتفاقية وروحها.
