At its fifty-third session, the General Assembly decided that the International Organization of la Francophonie would participate, in the capacity of observer, in the sessions and the work of the Assembly and its subsidiary organs, instead of the Agency for Cultural and Technical Cooperation (decision 53/453).
وفي الدورة الثالثة والخمسين، قررت الجمعية العامة أن تشارك المنظمة الدولية للفرانكوفونية، بصفة مراقب، في دورات وأعمال الجمعية العامة وهيئاتها الفرعية، بدلا من وكالة التعاون الثقافي والتقني (المقرر 53/453).

This interest is heightened by the fact that the International Organization of la Francophonie focuses its principal activities in areas that are also of the highest interest to the United Nations, such as the advancement of human rights and democracy and measures to promote social, economic and cultural development and even the environment.
ويزيد من هذا الاهتمام أن المنظمة الدولية للجماعة الفرنكوفونية تركز أنشطتها الرئيسية في مجالات ذات أهمية قصوى أيضا لﻷمم المتحدة، مثل النهوض بحقوق اﻹنسان والديمقراطية وتدابير تعزيز التنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والثقافية بل والبيئة.

I should like to conclude by reiterating that the International Organization of la Francophonie will continue to pursue its efforts to achieve the Millennium Development Goals, especially with regard to education, as well as to bear in mind the needs of the most vulnerable States, several of which are members of our organization.
وأود أن أختتم بياني بالتأكيد مجددا على أن المنظمة الدولية للفرانكفونية ستواصل متابعة جهودها لبلوغ الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية، وبخاصة فيما يتعلق بالتعليم، فضلا عن مراعاة احتياجات أشد الدول ضعفا، والعديد منها أعضاء في منظمتنا.

At its fifty-third session, the General Assembly, on the proposal of the Secretary-General, decided that the International Organization of la Francophonie would participate, in the capacity of observer, in the sessions and the work of the General Assembly and its subsidiary organs, instead of the Agency for Cultural and Technical Cooperation (decision 53/453).
وفي الدورة الثالثة والخمسين، قررت الجمعية العامة، بناء على اقتراح من الأمين العام، أن تشارك المنظمة الدولية الفرانكونية، بصفة مراقب في دورات وأعمال الجمعية العامة وهيئاتها الفرعية، بدلا من وكالة التعاون الثقافي والتقني (المقرر 53/453).
