On 15 January 2009, the author reiterates the arguments from his previous submission and argues that the State party's explanations as to how the injuries on his body were inflicted contradict the testimony of a bartender who eye-witnessed the arrest of the author and Mr. I. L. and stated that they did not offer any resistance.
