8. The Chairman proposed that the Committee accept the credentials of all representatives mentioned in the memorandum of the Secretariat, supplemented by the additional information provided by the Secretariat during the meeting of the Credentials Committee, on the understanding that formal credentials of representatives referred to in paragraph 3 of the Secretariat's memorandum would be communicated to the Secretariat as soon as possible.
8 - واقترح الرئيس أن تقبل اللجنة وثائق تفويض جميع الممثلين المشار إليهم في مذكرة الأمانة العامة المستكملة بالمعلومات الإضافية التي قدمتها الأمانة العامة خلال اجتماع لجنة وثائق التفويض، على أساس أن ترسل إلى الأمانة العامة، في أقرب وقت ممكن، وثائق التفويض الرسمية للممثلين المشار إليهم في الفقرة 3 من مذكرتها.

The CHAIRMAN said that, as an exceptional measure and with the aim of facilitating a consensus, he would, if the Committee so wished, invite the Chairman of ACABQ to attend the next informal meeting, at which time he could discuss that Committee's recommendations in document A/49/501 in the light of the additional information provided by the Secretariat.
