Subsequently, the Council adopted decision 9/101, in which it requested the Advisory Committee to prepare a study on the best practices in the matter of missing persons and to submit it to the Council at its twelfth session.

Following a panel discussion held on the question of missing persons at its ninth session, the Human Rights Council adopted decision 9/101, in which it requested the Advisory Committee to prepare a study on the best practices in the matter of missing persons and to submit it to the Council at its twelfth session.
