12. The General Assembly requests the Special Committee on the Situation with regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples to continue to examine this question and to report thereon to the Assembly at its forty-seventh session.
٢١ - وتطلب الجمعية العامة الى اللجنة الخاصة المعنية بحالة تنفيذ إعلان منح الاستقلال للبلدان والشعــوب المستعمــرة أن تواصل دراسة هذه المسألة وأن تقدم تقريرا عن ذلك الى الجمعية العامة في دورتها السابعة واﻷربعين.

D. Economic aspects of disarmament In paragraph 7 of its resolution 45/62 G of 4 December 1990, the General Assembly requested UNIDIR " to prepare, with the assistance of independent experts, a research report on the economic aspects of disarmament " to be submitted by the Secretary-General to the Assembly at its forty-seventh session.

30. In its resolution 46/96 of 16 December 1991, the General Assembly requested the Economic and Social Council at its next session to give its views on the continuation of the Voluntary Fund for the United Nations Decade of Disabled Persons and to submit its recommendations to the Assembly at its forty-seventh session.

A fourth meeting was convened by the Secretary-General in October 1992, pursuant to Assembly resolution 46/111 of 17 December 1991, and the report of that meeting was presented to the Assembly at its forty-seventh session (A/47/628, annex).

In a note submitted to the Assembly at its forty-seventh session, the Secretary-General informed the Assembly of his intention to entrust the primary responsibility for the preparation for the World Summit for Social Development to the new Department for Policy Coordination and Sustainable Development (A/47/753, para. 10).

11. The Advisory Committee further requested the Secretary-General to expedite the preparation of the report on the future role of UNITAR in training programmes within the United Nations system, as requested by the General Assembly in paragraph 5 of its resolution 46/180 of 19 December 1991 and to submit the report for action on a priority basis by the Assembly at its forty-seventh session.
١١ - وكذلك طلبت اللجنة الاستشارية الى اﻷمين العام أن يعمل على التعجيل بإعداد التقرير المتعلق بدور اليونيتار مستقبلا في البرامج التدريبية داخل منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة، على نحو ما طلبته الجمعية العامة في الفقرة ٥ من قرارها ٤٦/١٨٠ المؤرخ ١٩ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩١، وأن يقدم التقرير لاتخاذ إجراء بشأنه على أساس اﻷولوية من جانب الجمعية العامة في دورتها السابعة واﻷربعين.

The Assembly considers that the possibility of dispatching a United Nations visiting mission to St. Helena at an appropriate time should be kept under review, and requests the Special Committee to continue to examine the question of St. Helena at its next session and to report thereon to the Assembly at its forty-seventh session.
وترى الجمعية أن إمكانية إيفاد بعثة زائرة من اﻷمم المتحدة إلى سانت هيلانة في وقت ملائم ينبغي أن تظل قيد الاستعراض، وتطلب الجمعية العامة من اللجنة الخاصة أن تواصل دراسة مسألة سانت هيلانة في دورتها المقبلة، وأن تقدم تقريرا عن ذلك الى الجمعية في دورتها السابعة واﻷربعين.

16. Requests the Special Committee to continue the examination of the question of the small Territories and to recommend to the General Assembly the most suitable steps to be taken to enable the populations of those Territories to exercise their right to self-determination and independence and to report thereon to the Assembly at its forty-seventh session. ٦١ - تطلب من اللجنة الخاصة أن تواصل دراسة مسألة اﻷقاليم الصغيرة، وتوصية الجمعية العامة بأنسب الخطوات التي يتوجب اتخاذها لتمكين سكان تلك اﻷقاليم من ممارسة حقهم في تقرير المصير والاستقلال، وأن تقدم تقريرا في هذا الشأن الى الجمعية في دورتها السابعة واﻷربعين.

34. In the light of the foregoing, the Joint Inspection Unit believes that its views, as requested by the aforementioned decision of the General Assembly, were fully taken into account by the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in preparing its report to the Assembly at its forty-seventh session.
٣٤ - وعلى ضوء ما تقدم، ترى وحدة التفتيش المشتركة أن آراءها، على نحو ما طلب مقرر الجمعية العامة المذكور أعلاه، قد روعيت كل المراعاة في بيان اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية عند إعداد تقريرها إلى الجمعية في دورتها السابعة واﻷربعين.

34. In the light of the foregoing, the Joint Inspection Unit believes that its views, as requested by the General Assembly in its decision 46/446, were fully taken into account by the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in preparing its report to the Assembly at its forty-seventh session.
٣٤ - وعلى ضوء ما تقدم، ترى وحدة التفتيش المشتركة أن آراءها، على نحو ما طلبت الجمعية العامة في مقررها ٤٦/٤٤٦، قد روعيت كل المراعاة في بيان اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية عند إعداد تقريرها إلى الجمعية في دورتها السابعة واﻷربعين.

At its forty-sixth session, the Assembly took note of the report of the Committee 3/ and adopted its consensus recommendations as contained in General Assembly resolutions 46/73 A and B. The Assembly further requested the Committee to report to the Assembly at its forty-seventh session.
