The meeting adopted the Brazzaville Declaration on the Environment for Development and decision 5 on the implementation of a strategic approach to international chemicals management and other chemical and hazardous waste management issues which, among other things:

Recalling, in particular, the Brazzaville Declaration on Cooperation for Peace and Security in Central Africa, the Bata Declaration for the Promotion of Lasting Democracy, Peace and Development in Central Africa and the Yaoundé Declaration on Peace, Security and Stability in Central Africa;
وإذ يذكر بشكل خاص بإعلان برازافيل بشأن التعاون من أجل السلام واﻷمن في وسط أفريقيا، وإعلان باتا لتعزيز الديمقراطية والسلام والتنمية المستدامة في وسط أفريقيا، وإعلان ياوندي المتعلق بالسلام واﻷمن والاستقرار في وسط أفريقيا؛

The Global Programme of Action was also referred to in the Brazzaville Declaration on the Environment for Development, endorsed by the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (AMCEN) at its eleventh session in May 2006.

At the conclusion of that meeting, the Advisory Committee adopted the Brazzaville Declaration on the situation between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, by which it, inter alia, welcomed the decision of the two Governments to continue efforts aimed at reopening their respective embassies and encouraged them to complete that positive step.

55. The Committee reaffirmed that it attached great importance to the Dar-es-Salaam process and recalled the commitments made concerning that process within the framework of the Brazzaville Declaration.
