To assist the Committee's new members, the Secretariat, working with some of the Committee's experienced members, introduced the mandate of the Chemical Review Committee and the policy guidance and working procedures developed for the operation of the Committee.

Several members of the Secretariat and experienced members of the Committee gave an overview of key elements of the intersessional work of the Chemical Review Committee and the working procedures and policy guidance developed by the Committee, which were described in document UNEP/FAO/RC/CRC.4/INF/3.

69 - وصرح عدد من أعضاء اللجنة بأن مشروع المقرر الوارد في مذكرة الأمانة (UNEP/POPS/POPRC.10/7) ينبغي أن يُشير إلى أي جوانب سلبية للاجتماعات التي تعقد بالتسلسل من جانب لجنة استعراض المواد الكيميائية ولجنة استعراض الملوثات العضوية الثابتة ومزاياها.
