In its resolution 19/10, the Council decided to appoint, for a period of three years, an Independent Expert on the issue of human rights obligations relating to the enjoyment of a safe, clean, healthy and sustainable environment, and requested the mandate holder to submit a first report, including conclusions and recommendations, to the Council at its twenty-second session, and annually thereafter.

74. In its resolution 19/7, the Council took note of the preliminary study of the Advisory Committee on the promotion of human rights of the urban poor: strategies and best practices, and requested that the final study thereon be presented to the Council at its twenty-second session.
