14. The Committee regrets the unclear status of the Covenant in the domestic legal order of the State party and the lack of case law with respect to any of the rights under the Covenant.

The Committee is concerned that the Covenant has not been invoked before the national courts despite constitutional guarantees of direct applicability of the provisions of the Covenant in the domestic legal order and its precedence, as an international treaty, over domestic legislation.
