With regard to the report of the Secretary-General on the Peacebuilding Fund (A/65/353), while we are thankful for the drafting of this report and the increase in the available resources, we are also pleased to see progress achieved in its role as a crucial instrument for developing early peacebuilding activities and for creating transitional contexts in order to move the process of national ownership forward.
