Under the Convention, States parties also undertake to protect the child from all forms of sexual exploitation and sexual abuse and are required to take measures to prevent the inducement or coercion of a child to engage in any unlawful sexual activity; the exploitative use of children in prostitution or other unlawful sexual practices and the exploitative use of children in pornographic performances and materials.
٢٣- وتتعهد الدول اﻷطراف، بمقتضى الاتفاقية، بحماية الطفل من كل أشكال الاستغلال الجنسي والانتهاك الجنسي وتكون مطالبة باتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لمنع تحريض الطفل أو اكراهه على ممارسة أي نشاط جنسي غير مشروع؛ والاستخدام الاستغلالي لﻷطفال في الدعارة أو غيرها من الممارسات الجنسية غير المشروعة، والاستخدام الاستغلالي لﻷطفال في العروض والمواد الداعرة.

“12.1 All children have the right to protection from all forms of exploitation and, in particular, sexual exploitation, child prostitution and all forms of sexual abuse, assault, and harassment, including coercion of a child to engage in any unlawful sexual activity, the exploitation or use of children in prostitution or other unlawful sexual practices and the exploitative use of children in pornographic performances and materials. "

The Convention on the Rights of the Child voices the need for measures against the exploitative use of children in pornographic performances and materials (arts. 19 and 34).
١٧٠ - تعبر اتفاقية حقوق الطفل عن ضرورة اتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لمنع الاستخدام الاستغلالي لﻷطفال في العروض والمواد الاباحية الداعرة )المادتان ١٩ و ٣٤(.

States parties shall in particular take all appropriate measures to prevent the exploitative use of children in prostitution or other unlawful sexual practices, and ensure that no child is subjected to torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment (art. 37).
ويجب أن تقوم الدول اﻷطراف، بوجه خاص، باتخاذ جميع التدابير المناسبة لمنع الاستخدام الاستغلالي لﻷطفال في الدعارة أو غيرها من الممارسات الجنسية غير المشروعة، وضمان عدم تعريض أي طفل للتعذيب أو لغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة )المادة ٧٣(.

More specifically, under articles 19 and 34, States parties undertake to protect the child from all forms of sexual exploitation and sexual abuse, taking all appropriate measures to prevent the inducement of children to engage in any unlawful sexual activity, the exploitative use of children in prostitution or other unlawful sexual practices and the exploitative use of children in pornographic performances and materials.
١٣- وتتعهد الدول اﻷطراف، على نحو أكثر تحديداً، بموجب المادتين ٩١ و٣٤، بحماية الطفل من جميع أشكال الاستغلال الجنسي والاعتداء الجنسي، واتخاذ جميع التدابير الملائمة لمنع تحريض اﻷطفال على الاشتراك في أي نشاط جنسي غير مشروع، ومنع الاستخدام الاستغلالي لﻷطفال في البغاء أو غيرها من الممارسات الجنسية غير المشروعة، ومنع الاستخدام الاستغلالي لﻷطفال في العروض والمواد الخليعة.
