21. In the field of renewable energy, apart from the use of solar water-heaters and photovoltaic small-scale applications, limited progress has been achieved in promoting the use of renewable energy technologies in the Arab countries.
21 - وفي مجال الطاقة المتجددة فعدا عن استعمال سخانات الماء التي تعمل بالطاقة الشمسية والتطبيقات الفلطاضوئية الصغيرة، لم يحرز إلا تقدم محدود في ترويج استخدام تكنولوجيات الطاقة المتجددة في البلدان العربية.

15. Among the tangible outcomes of the event was the development of bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding between UNIDO and a number of participating countries and institutions concerning cooperation in the field of renewable energy.
15- ومن النواتج الملموسة لهذا اللقاء إبرام اتفاقات ثنائية ومذكرات تفاهم بين اليونيدو وعدد من البلدان والهيئات المشاركة تناولت التعاون في مجال الطاقة المتجددة.

Finally, the Group supported UNIDO's activities in the thematic area of environment and energy, noting the portfolio of projects with GEF funding in the field of renewable energy.
40- واختتم كلمته قائلا إن المجموعة تؤيد أنشطة اليونيدو في المجال الموضوعي المتعلق بالبيئة والطاقة، مشيرا إلى حافظة المشاريع الجاري تنفيذها بتمويل من مرفق البيئة العالمية في مجال الطاقة المتجددة.

The Director-General's appointment as chair of the UN-Energy group and the establishment of the new branch to deal with energy issues showed UNIDO's active involvement in the field of renewable energy.
46- وقال إن تعيين المدير العام رئيسا لشبكة الأمم المتحدة المعنية بالطاقة، وإنشاء فرع جديد للتعامل مع قضايا الطاقة أظهرا مشاركة اليونيدو النشطة في مجال الطاقة المتجددة.

33 -وتلقّى الصندوق الاستئماني في سنة 2010 أول مساهمة بمبلغ 000 25 يورو من شركة كورويند (Korwind)، وهي شركة من جمهورية كوريا مقرّها هامبورغ، وتعمل في مجال الطاقة المتجددة.

Activities to promote cleaner industrial development and provide assistance to developing countries in the field of renewable energy and carbon emissions reduction should be considered priorities. UNIDO should promote the Green Industry Initiative at the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20).
6- وختم بقوله إنَّ الأنشطة الرامية إلى النهوض بالتنمية الصناعية الأنظف وتقديم المساعدة للبلدان النامية في مجال الطاقة المتجددة والحدّ من انبعاثات الكربون يجب أن تُعتبر من الأولويات، وإنَّ على اليونيدو أن تروّج لمبادرة الصناعة الخضراء في مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتنمية المستدامة (مؤتمر ريو+20).

The University has also, with the involvement and support of entities such as the German Agency for Technical Operations (GTZ), the Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy Sources of the Government of India, AusAid and the World Bank undertaken research and development work in the field of renewable energy and established of institutional solar steam cooking systems, water heating systems and photovoltaic home-power systems.

58. At the national level, the Government of Fiji has reported the undertaking of numerous projects, particularly in the field of renewable energy and energy conservation.

Furthermore, a series of study tours was organized to encourage exchange of knowledge and business development between LAC and Africa, most recently in the field of renewable energy.

UNESCO continues to pursue a twofold strategy which permits encouragement of discussions on investment opportunities for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, as well as the stimulation of advocacy and mobilizing functions, and the promotion of training, education and information efforts in the field of renewable energy.
16 - وتواصل اليونسكو اتباع استراتيجية ذات شقين تتيح تشجيع المناقشات بشأن فرص الاستثمار في مشاريع الطاقة المتجددة وكفاءة الطاقة، فضلا عن تنشيط وظائف الدعوة والتعبئة، وتشجيع جهود التدريب والتعليم والمعلومات في ميدان الطاقة المتجددة.

In the field of renewable energy, there is a need for enhanced research and capacity-building, including through the implementation of the relevant components of the World Solar Programme launched by the World Solar Summit at Harare in September 1996.

56 - وتبرز دراسة أجرتها مؤخراً الوكالة الدولية للطاقة المتجددة، بعنوان " التوحيد الدولي في ميدان الطاقة المتجددة " ، قيمة المعايير الواضحة والمتسقة والمقبولة دولياً، لضمان النجاح في إعمال تكنولوجيات الطاقة المتجددة.

UNIDO is also continuing its global forum activities in the field of renewable energy.
35- وتواصل اليونيدو الاضطلاع أيضاً بأنشطتها بصفتها منتدى عالمياً في ميدان الطاقة المتجدّدة.
