36. GEF grants made available within the framework of the financial mechanism of the Convention conform with the eligibility criteria set forth by the Conference of the Parties.

2. Invites further the GEF to take note of the following conclusion of the Committee with respect to activities undertaken outside the framework of the financial mechanism:
٢ - تدعو كذلك مرفق البيئة العالمية الى أن يحيط علما باستنتاج اللجنة التالي المتعلق باﻷنشطة المضطلع بها خارج إطار اﻵلية المالية:

Invites further the GEF to take note of the following conclusion of the Committee with respect to activities undertaken outside the framework of the financial mechanism:
٣- تدعو كذلك مرفق البيئة العالمية إلى اﻹحاطة علماً بالاستنتاج التالي للجنة فيما يتعلق باﻷنشطة المضطلع بها خارج إطار اﻵلية المالية:

Additionality to financial obligations of Parties included in Annex II to the Convention within the framework of the financial mechanism as well as to current official development assistance flows;
)و( الاضافة إلى الالتزامات المالية لﻷطراف المدرجة في المرفق الثاني بالاتفاقية في إطار اﻵلية المالية فضلا عن تدفقات المساعدة الانمائية الرسمية الحالية؛

C2 Joint implementation activities shall be financed independently of the obligations of the Parties within the framework of the financial mechanism and of the technical assistance pursuant to Articles 4.3, 4.4 and 4.5 of the Convention; official development assistance (ODA) should not be used to finance joint implementation activities;

Consistency should be sought and maintained between activities (including those related to funding) relevant to climate change undertaken outside the framework of the financial mechanism and the policies, programme priorities and eligibility criteria for activities as relevant, established by the COP.
' ١ ' ينبغي التماس وحفظ الاتساق بين اﻷنشطة المتصلة بتغير المناخ )بما فيها تلك المتصلة بالتمويل( المضطلع بها خارج إطار اﻵلية المالية وبين السياسات واﻷولويات البرنامجية ومعايير اﻷهلية لﻷنشطة ذات الصلة التي يقررها مؤتمر اﻷطراف.

Invited the GEF to take note of conclusions reached by the Committee with respect to guidance from the COP to the operating entity or entities and to ensure that activities by the GEF Council within the framework of the financial mechanism of the Convention, between [the tenth session] and COP 1 are in conformity with those conclusions;
)أ( دعا مرفق البيئة العالمية إلى أن يحيط علما بالاستنتاجات التي توصلت إليها اللجنة فيما يتعلق بالتوجيه من مؤتمر اﻷطراف إلى كيان أو كيانات التشغيل وضمان تطابق اﻷنشطة التي يضطلع بها مجلس مرفق البيئة العالمية في إطار اﻵلية المالية للاتفاقية، فيما بين ]الدورة العاشرة[ ومؤتمر اﻷطراف مع هذه الاستنتاجات.

(b) Outside the framework of the financial mechanism:

Consistency should be sought and maintained between activities (including those related to funding) relevant to climate change undertaken outside the framework of the financial mechanism and the policies, programme priorities and eligibility criteria for activities as relevant, established by the COP.
ينبغي السعي لتحقيق الاتساق والحفاظ عليه بين اﻷنشطة )بما في ذلك تلك المتعلقة بالتمويل( المتعلقة بتغير المناخ المضطلع بها خارج إطار اﻵلية المالية والسياسات واﻷولويات البرنامجية ومعايير اﻷهلية لﻷنشطة على نحو مناسب، والتي حددها مؤتمر اﻷطراف.

(e) That the financing of activities implemented jointly shall be additional to the financial obligations of Parties included in Annex II to the Convention within the framework of the financial mechanism as well as to current official development assistance (ODA) flows;
)ﻫ( أن يكون تمويل اﻷنشطة المنفذة تنفيذا مشتركا إضافيا للالتزامات المالية الواقعة على عاتق اﻷطراف المدرجة في المرفق الثاني بالاتفاقية في إطار اﻵلية المالية وكذلك إضافيا لتدفقات المساعدة الانمائية الرسمية الحالية؛

1. [The main source of funding will be new and additional financial resources provided by developed country Parties and other developed Parties included in Annex II, over and above the financing provided through institutions outside the framework of the financial mechanism of the Convention and over and above the goal of 0.7 percent of the GDP of the developed country Parties as ODA.
1- [سيكون المصدر الرئيسي للتمويل مكوّنا من موارد مالية جديدة وإضافية تقدمها البلدان الأطراف المتقدمة والبلدان المتقدمة الأخرى المدرجة في المرفق الثاني، إضافةً إلى التمويل المقدم عن طريق مؤسسات خارجة عن إطار الآلية المالية للاتفاقية، وتضاف كذلك إلى الهدف المحدد بنسبة 0.7 في المائة من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي للبلدان الأطراف المتقدمة في شكل مساعدة إنمائية رسمية.
