Adopts the guidelines for review under Article 8 of the Kyoto Protocol;

the guidelines for review under Article 8 of the Kyoto Protocol and the UNFCCC guidelines for the technical review of greenhouse gas inventories under the Convention;

Adopts the guidelines for review under Article 8 of the Kyoto Protocol as contained in the annex to the present decision;

In this decision, the COP requested the SBSTA to further elaborate sections of the guidelines for review under Article 8 of the Kyoto Protocol, for incorporation into the guidelines.

2- يطلب إلى الأمانة إدراج أية توصيات يخلص إليها خبراء الاستعراض الرئيسيون جماعياً في تقريرهم السنوي، المشار إليه في الفقرة 40 من المبادئ التوجيهية للاستعراض المنصوص عليها في المادة 8 من بروتوكول كيوتو، والمقدم إلى الهيئة الفرعية للمشورة العلمية والتكنولوجية كي تنظر فيه؛

The option for a Party included in Annex I to submit a revised estimate for a part of its inventory to which an adjustment was previously applied should not prevent Parties included in Annex I from making best efforts to correct the problem at the time it was initially identified and in accordance with the time frame set forth in the guidelines for review under Article 8.
والخيار المتاح لطرف مدرج في المرفق الأول بأن يقدم تقديراً منقحاً لجزء من جرده، طبق عليه سابقاً تعديل، هو خيار ينبغي ألا يمنع الأطراف المدرجة في المرفق الأول من بذل قصارى جهودها لعلاج المشكلة وقت تحديدها في البداية ووفقاً للإطار الزمني المحدد في المبادئ التوجيهية للاستعراض بموجب المادة 8.
