12. The United Nations Environment Programme indicated that its practice was in line with the provisions contained in the guidelines for the regulation of computerized personal data files.
٢١- وذكر برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للبيئة أن الممارسة التي يتبعها تتمشى مع اﻷحكام الواردة في المبادئ التوجيهية لتنظيم بيانات الملفات الشخصية المعدة بالحاسبة الالكترونية.

تقرير أعده اﻷمين العام عملا بمقرر اللجنة ٣٩٩١/٣١١ عن مسألة متابعة المبادئ التوجيهية لتنظيم ملفات البيانات الشخصية المعدة بالحاسبة الالكترونية (E/CN.4/1995/75).

These principles imply, inter alia, a duty to maintain accuracy and transparency in the fields of information, communications and education, as the General Assembly recognized when it adopted the guidelines for the regulation of computerized personal data files by resolution 45/95 of 14 December 1990.
وتنطوي هذه المبادئ، فيما تنطوي عليه، على واجب المحافظة على الدقة والشفافية في ميادين الاعلام، والاتصالات والتعليم، على النحو الذي سلمت به الجمعية العامة عندما اعتمدت المبادئ التوجيهية لتنظيم ملفات البيانات الشخصية المعدة بالحاسبة الالكترونية في القرار ٥٤/٥٩ المؤرخ في ٤١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ٠٩٩١.

13. The International Atomic Energy Agency stated that the provisions of its Administrative Manual, section 8, dealing with protection of personnel confidential information, were consistent with the guidelines for the regulation of computerized personal data files adopted by the General Assembly.
٣١- وذكرت الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية أن أحكام الفرع ٨ من دليلها اﻹداري، التي تتناول حماية المعلومات السرية المتعلقة بالموظفين، تتمشى مع المبادئ التوجيهية لتنظيم ملفات البيانات الشخصية المعدة بالحاسبة الالكترونية، التي اعتمدتها الجمعية العامة.

The attention of the Sub—Commission is also drawn to the Commission on Human Rights decision 1997/122, entitled “Human rights and the follow—up to the guidelines for the regulation of computerized personal data files”.

11. Internationally, the guidelines for the regulation of computerized personal data files, as approved by the General Assembly, provide guidance that national authorities should apply when collecting and disaggregating sensitive data by ethnicity or race.
11- وعلى الصعيد الدولي، تنص المبادئ التوجيهية لتنظيم ملفات البيانات الشخصية المعدَّة بالحاسبة الإلكترونية، التي اعتمدتها الجمعية العامة()، على توجيهات يجب على السلطات الوطنية تنفيذها لدى جمع وتجزئة البيانات الحساسة المفصّلة بحسب الهوية الإثنية/الجماعة العرقية.

12. The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) stated that the guidelines for the regulation of computerized personal data files had been taken into consideration and compliance with its principles was ensured, including access by the concerned staff member and the principle of security.
٢١- وذكرت منظمة اﻷمم المتحدة للطفولة )اليونيسيف( أنه تتم مراعاة المبادئ التوجيهية لتنظيم ملفات البيانات الشخصية المعدﱠة بالحاسبة اﻹلكترونية وأنه يتم ضمان الامتثال لهذه المبادئ، بما فيها إمكانية اطﱢلاع الموظفين المعنيين على هذه البيانات ومبدأ اﻷمن.

1. In its decision 1993/113 of 10 March 1993, the Commission on Human Rights, referring to the guidelines for the regulation of computerized personal data files (E/CN.4/1990/72) adopted by the General Assembly in its resolution 45/95 of 14 December 1990, decided to request the Secretary-General to report to the Commission at its fifty-first session:
١- إشارة إلى المبادئ التوجيهية لتنظيم ملفات البيانات الشخصية المعدة بالحاسبة الالكترونية، E/CN.4/1990/72 التي اعتمدتها الجمعية العامة في قرارها ٥٤/٥٩ المؤرخ في ٤١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ٠٩٩١، قررت لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان، في مقررها ٣٩٩١/٣١١ المؤرخ في ٠١ آذار/مارس ٣٩٩١، أن تطلب من اﻷمين العام أن يقدم إليها تقريراً في دورتها الحادية والخمسين:

1. The Government of the Republic of Croatia has, through its competent bodies, carefully considered the guidelines for the regulation of computerized personal data files adopted by the General Assembly in resolution 45/95 in order to implement its provisions at the national level both through legislation and practice.
١- نظــرت حكومــة جمهوريـة كرواتيا بعناية، من خلال هيئاتها المختصة، في المبادئ التوجيهية لتنظيم ملفـات البيانـات الشخصيـة المعــدة بالحاسبـة الالكترونيـة، التــي اعتمدتهـا الجمعيــة العامــة فـي ـ * يمكن الرجوع إليها في ملفات اﻷمانة. القــرار ٥٤/٥٩ مـن أجـــل تنفيــذ أحكامهـا علـــى الصعيــد الوطنــي، عـــن طريــق التشريـع والممارسـة علــى السـواء.
