21. In the light of information received on the situation of indigenous peoples in Paraguay, more specifically the Yakye Axa and Sawhoyamaxa and their traditional lands, the Committee, at its seventy-sixth session, transmitted a letter to the Government expressing its concern and requested information to be provided by 31 July 2010.

In paragraph 4 of that decision, the Implementation Committee was also requested to give special consideration to the situation of such Parties, particularly in the context of paragraph 4 of the non-compliance procedure of the Protocol, in the light of information received from the Parties concerned and having due regard to health considerations.

25. In the light of information received from the Government of Costa Rica on 28 January 2011 about the situation of the indigenous people of Térraba, the Committee, at its seventy-eighth session, requested the State party to provide information on the progress of the hydroelectric dam project and the measures taken to guarantee the rights of indigenous peoples and ensure their effective participation at all stages of the project.
25- وفي ضوء المعلومات الواردة من حكومة كوستاريكا في 28 كانون الثاني/يناير 2011 عن حالة شعب تيرابا من السكان الأصليين، طلبت اللجنة، في درتها الثامنة والسبعين، من الدولة الطرف تزويدها بمعلومات عن التقدم الحاصل في مشروع السد الكهرومائي والتدابير التي اتخذت لصون حقوق السكان الأصليين وضمان مشاركتهم الفعالة في جميع مراحل هذا المشروع.

19. In the light of information received from the Government of the Lao People's Democratic Republic on 2 October 2009 about the situation of the Hmong people, the Committee reiterated its request to the State party to take all necessary steps to immediately stop any alleged military operations and to allow the provision of humanitarian aid and medical assistance in the area inhabited by the Hmong people.
19- وفي ضوء المعلومات الواردة من حكومة جمهورية لاو الديمقراطية الشعبية في 2 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2009 عن حالة شعب همونغ، كررت اللجنة طلبها إلى الدولة الطرف أن تتخذ جميع الخطوات اللازمة لوقف أي عمليات عسكرية مزعومة فوراً والسماح بتقديم المعونة الإنسانية والمساعدة الطبية في المنطقة التي يعيش فيها شعب همونغ.

4. 34. In the light of information received from the Government of Colombia about the Urra II Dam project within ancestral lands of the Embera Katio people in a letter dated 26 January 2011, the Committee decided at its seventy-ninth session to remove the case from its early warning and urgent action procedure.
