The Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to this Protocol shall define modalities and procedures to ensure that there is no double counting between the mechanisms established under this Protocol or any other legal instrument under the Convention.

V. Technical assistance provided to States parties 48. Technical assistance and capacity-building activities of OHCHR routinely focus on the Convention, including with respect to preparation of reports and follow-up to concluding observations, as well as the mechanisms established under the Optional Protocol.
