13. The view was expressed that the reasons preventing States from becoming parties to the Moon Agreement needed to be explored more fully in order to find appropriate solutions to overcome those obstacles.
13- وأُعرب عن رأي مفاده أنه ينبغي تقصّي الأسباب التي تمنع الدول من أن تصبح أطرافا في اتفاق القمر تقصيا أوفى، من أجل إيجاد حلول مناسبة للتغلّب على تلك العوائق.

Those delegations were open to a revision of the Moon Agreement, if necessary, and drew the attention of the Subcommittee to the precedent-setting value of the law of the sea and other international legal regimes dealing with areas beyond national jurisdiction.

11. The Working Group agreed that during the forty-seventh session of the Legal Subcommittee, in 2008, member States, in addressing the low participation of States in the Moon Agreement, in the framework of the Working Group, could:

The view was expressed that the Moon Agreement, in all its aspects, should continue to be discussed by the Subcommittee in order for its provisions to be further clarified and understood.
