With regard to conference services, the main objective will continue to be to provide to the intergovernmental organs and expert bodies of the United Nations the high-quality meeting and documentation services they require to support their work, making the most cost-effective use of the conference-servicing resources and facilities available worldwide.
٩٤١ - وفيما يتعلق بخدمات المؤتمرات، فلسوف يستمر الهدف الرئيسي متمثلا في تزويد اﻷجهزة الحكومية الدولية وهيئات الخبراء باﻷمم المتحدة بما تطلبه من خدمات رفيعة المستوى للاجتماعات والوثائق من أجل دعم أعمالها مع الحرص على الاستخدام اﻷمثل من حيث فعالية التكاليف لموارد ومرافق خدمات المؤتمرات المتاحة على مستوى العالم.

11. By resolution 60/266 of 30 June 2006, the General Assembly had inter alia requested that a review of staffing requirements, function and level of posts be undertaken to reflect evolving mandates, changing operational requirements, actual responsibilities and functions performed, with a view to ensuring the most cost-effective use of resources.
