(c) Recommended that the General Conference approve the new social security agreement with the Republic of Austria and authorize the Director-General to bring the new agreement into force in the manner prescribed in paragraph 1 of article 18 thereof.
(ج) أوصى بأن يوافق المؤتمر العام على اتفاق الضمان الاجتماعي الجديد مع جمهورية النمسا وأن يأذن للمدير العام بأن يعمل على بدء نفاذ الاتفاق الجديد على النحو الوارد في الفقرة 1 من المادة 18 منه.

In addition, officials who took up their appointment with UNIDO prior to the date of entry into force of the new social security agreement will have the possibility within three months of that date of joining any of the branches of Austrian social insurance.

4. On 1 November 2010, the new social security agreement signed between the Republic of Austria and UNIDO in April 2010, came into force.

Mr. Pokrovskiy (Russian Federation), referring to the new social security agreement between UNIDO and Austria, said that the financial implications of the agreement should be considered before proceeding with its conclusion.

Under item 12, the Board had before it a report by the Director-General on personnel matters (IDB.36/19), a report by the Director-General on the new social security agreement between UNIDO and the Republic of Austria (IDB.36/20) and a conference room paper entitled " List of staff of the UNIDO Secretariat " (IDB.36/CRP.3).
35- عُرض على المجلس، في إطار البند 12، تقرير من المدير العام عن شؤون العاملين (IDB.36/19)، وتقرير من المدير العام عن اتفاق الضمان الاجتماعي الجديد بين اليونيدو وجمهورية النمسا (IDB.36/20)، وورقة غرفة اجتماعات عنوانها " قائمة موظفي أمانة اليونيدو " (IDB.36/CRP.3).

Ms. Antonopoulou (Director, Human Resource Management Branch) said that any costs arising from implementation of the new social security agreement would be absorbed by existing budgetary resources, since UNIDO would subsidize only one of the four branches of social insurance coverage provided for under the new agreement, namely health insurance.
