Ms. RAMIS-PLUM (France) suggested that the existing wording of operative subparagraph (a) up to the words " the next General Conference in 2005 " be kept and that the last part of the paragraph be replaced by a reference to the strengthening of the consultative process between Member States, management and staff.

Croatia supported UNIDO's efforts to achieve greater synergy between its global forum and technical cooperation activities, and it welcomed the Director-General's commitment to developing a strategic long-term vision for UNIDO, which should be discussed at the next General Conference session.
وأضاف ان كرواتيا تدعم جهود اليونيدو الرامية إلى تحقيق المزيد من التآزر بين أنشطة منتدياتها العالمية وأنشطتها في مجال تقديم التعاون التقني، ورحّب بالتزام المدير العام بوضع رؤية استراتيجية طويلة الأمد لليونيدو ينبغي أن تناقش في الدورة القادمة للمؤتمر العام.
