We must recall once again that international cooperation for the peaceful uses of nuclear energy is a contractual counterpart to the renunciation by the parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons of the acquisition or development of nuclear weapons.

59. Recourse to nuclear weapons is directly addressed by two of these Conventions and also in connection with the indefinite extension of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons of 1968:

7. Welcomes the participation in the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine as non-nuclear-weapon States, which thereby provided notable enhancement of the non-proliferation regime;
٧ - ترحب باشتراك أوكرانيا وبيلاروس وكازاخستان في معاهدة عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية بصفتها دولا غير حائزة لﻷسلحة النووية، اﻷمر الذي حقق تحسنا ملحوظا في نظام عدم الانتشار؛

10. Welcomes the participation in the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine as non-nuclear States, which thereby provided notable enhancement of the non-proliferation regime;
١٠ - ترحب باشتراك أوكرانيا وبيلاروس وكازاخستان في معاهدة عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية بصفتها دولا غير حائزة لﻷسلحة النووية، اﻷمر الذي حقق تحسنا ملحوظا في نظام عدم الانتشار؛

99. In these circumstances, the Court appreciates the full importance of the recognition by Article VI of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons of an obligation to negotiate in good faith a nuclear disarmament.
٩٩ - وفي هذه الظروف، تقدﱢر المحكمة اﻷهمية الكاملة لاعتراف المادة السادسة من معاهدة عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية بالتزامٍ بالتفاوض بحسن نية على نزع اﻷسلحة النووية.

7. Welcomes the accession to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons of Belarus, Kazakstan and Ukraine as non-nuclear-weapon States, which thereby provided notable enhancement to the non-proliferation regime;

I have the honour to transmit herewith the text of the Law of Ukraine entitled " On the accession of Ukraine to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons of 1 July 1968 " , dated 16 November 1994 (see annex).
أتشرف بأن أحيل طيه نص قانون أوكرانيا المؤرخ في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٤، والمعنون " حول انضمام أوكرانيا الى معاهدة عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية المبرمة في ١ تموز/يوليه ١٩٦٨ " )انظر المرفق(.

Requires that the Government of Iraq forthwith comply fully and without delay with all its international obligations, including those set out in the present resolution, in resolution 687 (1991), in the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons of 1 July 1968 and its safeguards agreement with IAEA;

Welcomes the accession to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons of Ukraine as a non-nuclear-weapon State, and in this regard acknowledges that this decision as well as relevant decisions taken by Belarus and Kazakstan, contributed to the entry into force of the Treaty on the Reduction and Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms, which is a major landmark in the process of nuclear disarmament;
" ٢ - ترحب بانضمام أوكرانيا الى معاهدة عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية بوصفها دولة غير حائزة لﻷسلحة النووية، وتعترف في هذا الصدد بأن هذا القرار، وكذا القرارين اللذين اتخذتهما بيلاروس وكازاخستان، قد ساهمت في بدء نفاذ معاهدة تخفيض اﻷسلحة الهجومية الاستراتيجية، مما يشكل معلما بارزا في عملية نزع السلاح النووي؛

2. Also welcomes the accession on 5 December 1994 to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons of Ukraine as a non-nuclear-weapon State, and in this regard acknowledges that this decision, as well as relevant decisions previously taken by Belarus and Kazakstan, contributed to the entry into force of the Treaty on the Reduction and Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms, which is a major landmark in the process of nuclear disarmament;
٢ - ترحب أيضا بانضمام أوكرانيا في ٥ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٤ إلى معاهدة عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية بوصفها دولة غير حائزة لﻷسلحة النووية، وتعترف في هذا الصدد بأن هذا القرار، وكذا القرارين اللذين سبق أن اتخذتهما بيلاروس وكازاخستان، قد ساهمت في بدء نفاذ معاهدة تخفيض اﻷسلحة الهجومية الاستراتيجية، مما يشكل معلما بارزا في عملية نزع السلاح النووي؛

Saudi Arabia stated that it was a party to a number of multilateral conventions, such as the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961; the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 1963; the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons of 1968, and the International Convention on Maritime Search and Rescue, done in 1989 by the International Maritime Organization.
١٢ - وذكرت المملكة العربية السعودية أنها طرف في عدد من الاتفاقيات المتعددة اﻷطراف، مثل اتفاقية فيينا للعلاقات الدبلوماسية لعام ١٩٦١، واتفاقية فيينا للعلاقات القنصلية لعام ١٩٦٣؛ ومعاهدة عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية لعام ١٩٦٨؛ والاتفاقية الدولية للبحث والانقاذ البحريين، التي وضعتها المنظمة البحرية الدولية في عام ١٩٨٩.
