Ghana supports the need for further improving the interaction and relationship between the Court and the Assembly of States Parties, with due regard for the principle of judicial independence and impartiality. The principle of complementarity, which underpins the Rome Statute, means that the need for capacity-building at the national level must be given top priority as well.
