As was mentioned earlier, national strategies for the development of statistics are the overarching strategies of the Reference Regional Strategic Framework for Statistical Capacity-Building in Africa.

The Centre requires a team to be responsible for statistical planning and management, including the design and implementation of the national strategy for the development of statistics, statistical coordination, advocacy, monitoring of strategic frameworks of the Reference Regional Strategic Framework for Statistical Capacity-building in Africa, partnerships and training.

The subprogramme will continue to play a lead role in the implementation of the Reference Regional Strategic Framework for Statistical Capacity-building in Africa, which is designed to improve national statistical systems; and in the provision of support to countries to design, adopt and implement their national strategies for the development of statistics.

(f) Called upon development partners to support African countries through coordination mechanisms put in place by African stakeholders, namely the Statistical Commission for Africa, the Reference Regional Strategic Framework for Statistical Capacity-Building in Africa and the Strategy for the Harmonization of Statistics in Africa;
(و) دعت الشركاء في التنمية إلى دعم البلدان الأفريقية عن طريق آليات التنسيق التي وضعتها الجهات الأفريقية المعنية، ولا سيما اللجنة الإحصائية لأفريقيا والإطار الاستراتيجي الإقليمي المرجعي لبناء القدرات الإحصائية والاستراتيجية المتعلقة بمواءمة الإحصاءات في أفريقيا؛
